Introduction
  • The program of game design is a four year degree programs. This course focuses on the design of computer games and animation where students will major in game design an animations. Students will learn theory and practice techniques for the computer gaming industry. After studying this course students will be able to design games and animations on computer games, movies, videos, and related device.

  • This department was established in 2013. This course focuses on the practical knowledge of integral design, information network, audio-visual, animation, database, scriptwriting, game design, marketing, and etc.The course is built around game design and multimedia creation.According to the demand of the game industry, the curriculum was designed to improve students' professional skills. During the school year, students would have opportunities to worked with industry internships, get multiple licenses. Students could be engaged in the integral information, such as information networks, databases, audio-visual, animation, or game creative systems after they graduate. This department is the only game design department in Taipei. The courses are very practical, such as mobile games, virtual reality, etc., and the equipment is novel. There are six laboratories in this department such as game creation studios, art design studios, studios, iMac computer classroom, 3D software lab, and cloud free software lab.

  • School bus: 7:45 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. start from Nangang Train Station to CUST.
    4:30 p.m. and 5:20 p.m. from CUST to Nangang Train Station.

     MRT: Nangang Exhibition Center Station on the blue (Bannan) line→Kunyang Station, Nangang Station, or Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Station→ take bus B25 to CUST.
